My Artistic Values
I am a photographer whose work is based in authenticy, curiosity, and adventure.
I first got my hands on a camera when I was a freshman in high school. I orginally started in videoography (wanting to follow in my sister's footsteps). After years passed, it was a hobby that stood the test of time. Between being a music major, changing majors, taking a gap year - I looked down and still had my camera in my hand. In 2023, I started shooting on my father's Canon AE-1. This absolutely unraveled my passion for film, slow-life, and a love for having no post edit. So many photos we see are made for the "perfect instagram post" - fake poses and heavy presets. I see the beauty in REAL life and seek to document what is usually mundane or even ugly.
Much of my work takes place when I travel, which is based in my values of adventure and curiosity. I have traveled all over the USA, Ireland, France, and the Pennslvania area. My next travel and photography goals include Guatemala, Brazil, and South East Asia.
I believe in learning and supporting my community.

I have an acedemic background in rehabilitation and social work. I am currently seeking opportunities to document communities such as people with physical and mental disabilities, single mothers, people without homes, and those experiencing finanical and economic difficulties in an effort to highlight their stories and encourage empathy in a culture that needs it most.
